History

Pragmatic Esports have been associated with Counter-Strike teams since March 2017. They originally participated in the uncompleted European online event, The Friendly League, where they won all three games which they played.

The team went on to feature in the European Esports League. They finished the swiss-system with a 3-1 record, qualifying them for the double-elimination play-offs. They beat Rygen 16-12 in Round 1, and lost 16-13 to Enchant.

In their next game, they won 2-0 against Exile Academy. However, they fell in their next game, 2-0, to Undertake Academy.

They also featured in Season 3 of the Counter Strike Amateur League. Their roster beat Team Zenetics, Infinix EU and Infinix UK to progress through to the final. However, they lost 2-1 to Infinix UK in the grand-final.

In summer 2018, PRG participated in the Empire Esports League. During qualification, they beat Arctic.GG 16-8, Undefined 16-7 and beat Rygen EU to reach the main event. They were placed in Group A alongside Cryogenic, DEFY Gaming and Cursed Cobras. They lost 16-5 to Cryogenic, but recovered to beat Cursed Cobras and DEFY to reach the play-offs. They defeated Rygen UK and Mossenspotters, but lost to Newcastle Jaguars and North Sea, to be denied a place in the losers final.
